Chiropractor Springfield VA Tamara Finch

CLINIC DIRECTOR, MASTERS IN NEUROSCIENCE

Tamara Finch DC, MS

Dr. Tamara Finch, D.C., M.S., is a Lafayette, LA native who graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2015 with her Bachelors in Exercise Science. From here, she completed a 3.5-years of graduate school in Dallas, TX, where she obtained not only her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University's accredited College of Chiropractic in December 2019, but her Master in Neuroscience degree as well.

Her personal story with chiropractic began after years of track, dancing, and gymnastics finally took a toll on her spine. She was a member of the 2012 and 2013 Ragin' Jazz Dance Team at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette when she learned that due to her spinal compression injuries, she may never be able to dance or play sports again. She had never really known much about chiropractic at the time, but with the only other option being surgery, she decided to attempt conservative care. Like many other stories that have been told about chiropractic, hers is one of healing and recovery without the intervention of surgery or medication. Her pain decreased within a few weeks, she was able to begin lifting weights again soon after to rehab the muscles and even began enjoying her hobbies, such as running, ultimate frisbee, and dancing, over time. The ability to see improvements in herself and her quality of life is what led her to take the health of other people into her own hands. She began her chiropractic career with the hopes of serving others and allowing them to experience life without pain or discomfort.

Her goal as a member of the Family Chiropractic team is to serve the surrounding community with excellent care. She hopes to emphasize the importance of chiropractic and show just how much it aids with maintaining and allowing optimal health and healing of the human body.
