Our Chiropractic Techniques
Lack of nervous system integrity as well as the location of spinal dysfunction sets the stage for disease and ill health. When the individual bones of the spine, the vertebra, do not align correctly and do not move in normal patterns, they are subluxated. The purpose of Chiropractic adjustments is to reduce subluxations, thereby restoring normal function to the spine and joints. This will encourage the healing process and aide in balance and flexibility along with improving the nerve communications between your brain and your body. There are a variety of Chiropractic Adjustment techniques in use today. Drs. Dolberg and Etka utilize the approach that is determined to be the most effective and comfortable for the patient. Prior to doing any adjustments, the doctors consult with each patient to make sure it is understood and accepted. There are no surprises here. We prepare the patient for treatment and make it comfortable. Most of the time what we hear is, "Wow, that felt great
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our judgment and years of experience.

Nutrition & Supplements
Proper Nutrition and supplementation are essential components of a healthy body. The doctors can provide general information and guidance to help you get on the right track. This information can be used in conjunction with personalized dietary/nutrition goals to achieve better health such as cholesterol reduction, controlling blood pressure, overcoming Type II Diabetes and weight loss/management.
Exercise/Muscle Re-education
Stretching and strengthening exercises are incorporated to stabilize the body and improve biomechanics, thus reducing the chance of re-injury. The exercises encourage the maximum use of your body while staying independent of the office, providing you with control over your own health care.
Physiotherapy
The application of a variety of physiotherapy modalities, moist heat or cold, ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, trigger point or traction may be used depending on your condition and stage of healing. Some of these are used in combination to obtain the greatest symbiotic effect and encourage the most rapid healing process. These modalities are useful, but primarily used as a set-up for the most important procedure of all, the Chiropractic Adjustments.
